Security & safety

How we protect your account and your information, who we let onto Glamvelle, and how to stay safe.

Last updated 10 October 2026

Your account

  • No passwords to steal. You log in with a one-time code we email to you. The code expires after 5 minutes, can only be tried a few times, and a new one can only be asked for after a short wait.
  • Glamvelle staff will never ask you for your login code. If someone does, it is a scam.
  • Everything travels over encrypted HTTPS connections, and requests are rate-limited to slow down abuse.

Your ID and documents

  • ID card photos are stored in private storage, outside any public web address. They cannot be opened by a link.
  • Only authorised team members, signed in to our admin, can view them, to verify artists and owners.
  • They are never shown to customers or published.

Your privacy in bookings

  • Phone numbers, emails and social media handles are not shared between customers and artists. You talk in Glamvelle's chat, which opens after a booking is accepted.
  • Our chat blocks attempts to share contact details, and we record blocked attempts so the team can act on repeat cases.
  • A studio's full address is shown only after the artist accepts your booking.
  • An artist's exact location is never shown. Customers only see a rounded distance.
  • Sharing your location in chat is optional, sent once, and visible only while the booking is open.

Who we let in

  • Artists and rental owners apply with ID photos, and our team approves each one.
  • Portfolio photos, services, rental photos, rental items and changes to public profiles are all reviewed before customers see them.
  • Reviews can only be written by customers after a completed booking, and we hide reviews that break the rules.
  • Artists on Premium carry the Verified badge and are checked like everyone else.

Payments and scams

  • We do not collect card details. You pay the artist or owner directly, so only pay people you have booked through Glamvelle, and never pay anyone in advance to "secure" a slot unless you agreed it in the app.
  • Artists pay their Glamvelle commission only through the invoice in their dashboard, to the Easypaisa number shown there. If a message tells you to pay somewhere else, do not.
  • Report anything suspicious straight away.

How the platform is protected

  • Staff access is limited and protected by login. Admin actions on approvals and payments are recorded.
  • Regular backups of our database and uploaded files.
  • Servers are kept updated and sit behind a firewall that only allows web traffic and secure administration.

Staying safe

  • Tell your artist about allergies or skin conditions before a service, and ask for a patch test if you need one.
  • Check that tools and products are clean, and that you are comfortable with the setting.
  • For a home visit, tell a family member or friend the time and place, and keep the chat inside Glamvelle.
  • If something feels wrong, stop the service and contact us.
