What we collect, why we collect it, who sees it and what you can do about it.

Last updated 10 October 2026

1. Who we are

Glamvelle runs glamvelle.com, its API and the Glamvelle app. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who sees it and what you can do. Questions: support@glamvelle.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account: your email address, your name, and your phone number if you add one.
  • Artists and rental owners: city and area, bio, experience, studio name and address, profile and portfolio photos, an optional intro video, and photos of both sides of your ID card.
  • Bookings and rentals: the dates, times, place, your area and address for a home visit, notes you write, prices, status and reviews.
  • Messages: chats with the other person on a booking and with Glamvelle support.
  • Location: see section 3.
  • Technical information: like most sites, our servers see your IP address, browser or device type and the pages requested, and keep these in logs for a short time. Your login is kept in your browser or app so you stay signed in.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on the site at the moment.

3. Your location

  • "Near me": if you tap "Use my location", your device's position is used to sort services by distance. We do not save it in your account or database. The position is sent with the search so we can work out distances, which means it can appear in our server logs for a short time.
  • Artists' map location: if an artist saves their location, it is stored rounded to about 100 metres and is never shown to customers. Customers only see a rounded distance.
  • Sharing in chat: if you choose to share your location in a chat, it is sent once to the other person and kept while the booking is open. Afterwards the numbers are removed and only the card remains.
  • You can turn location off in your browser or phone settings at any time.

4. How we use it

  • To run Glamvelle: accounts, bookings, rentals, chat and reviews.
  • To check artists and owners and keep the marketplace safe, including reviewing ID photos, portfolios, listings and reports.
  • To email or notify you about your login code, bookings, approvals, commission invoices and support replies.
  • To help you through support, and to find and fix problems.
  • To follow the law.

5. Who sees it

  • The other person on a booking sees your name and the details needed for the booking. We do not give them your phone number or email, and they do not give you theirs: you talk in chat.
  • A studio's full address is shown to the customer only after the artist accepts the booking.
  • Artists' and owners' public profile (name, photos, bio, area, services, prices and reviews) is visible to everyone.
  • Your ID photos are private. Only authorised Glamvelle team members open them, to verify you. They are never shown to customers or the public.
  • Companies that help us run Glamvelle, only for that purpose: hosting (our servers), email delivery for your login codes and notices, and DNS and security services.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account while you use Glamvelle. Notifications keep only the latest 100. Chat location numbers are removed after a booking ends. Backups are kept for up to 14 days. Verification documents are kept as long as we need them to verify you and keep the marketplace safe, then deleted when you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep them.

7. Keeping it safe

We protect your information with encrypted connections, private storage for ID photos, limited staff access and other measures described on our Security and safety page. No system is perfectly secure, so please also protect your own email account.

8. Your choices

  • See and update your name and phone in your account.
  • Turn off "Show when I'm online" in your account if you do not want people you chat with to see it.
  • Ask us to correct, export or delete your information, or close your account, by emailing support@glamvelle.com. We will answer as soon as we can.
  • Remove location access in your browser or phone settings.

9. Age

Glamvelle is for people who are 18 or older. If you think a young person has made an account, tell us and we will remove it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, we will tell you. Contact: support@glamvelle.com or WhatsApp +92 303 47 54 590.
